Individual monthly support is critical to our mission

Because Tenth Life prioritizes cats with special needs and injuries, many foundations and private donors elect not to support our work in favor of helping organizations who can boast a lower cost per cat and higher turnover. So many organizations exist with missions to move the highest quantity of pets through their doors quickly and we’re grateful they exist to fulfill that need.

However, we believe that all cats deserve a chance.

Babs was discovered with his hind legs fused and facing forward, causing him significant pain and nerve damage, likely from an injury or deformity. To relieve his discomfort and improve his mobility, his hind limbs were amputated, While he needs assistance with some daily tasks like going to the bathroom, he is thriving in his foster home and embraces life with a joyful spirit!

We’re not sure what Cherokee experienced before she joined us, but she is sensitive to certain sounds like the cries of other cats. However, when she’s in her comfort zone (most of the time) she transforms into the sweetest teddy bear you could ever cuddle! We’re dedicated to helping her and other cats like her thrive, working with behaviorists and veterinarians to ensure they live their best lives!

Penney was discovered living in a feral colony, but it was clear right away that he didn’t belong there. Far from feral, this sweet boy desperately needed veterinary care. Penney has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus and recently underwent major surgery to remove a painful ear polyp that caused constant infections and discomfort.  Now, he’s working through some behavioral challenges and doing well. Thanks to the generosity of our Litter Mates monthly donors, Penney received the life-changing treatment he needed for a healthier, happier life.
