We value transparency and want you to feel confident in the impact we’re making together. Our mission is to provide the best possible care for the cats and kittens in our organization while expanding our reach every year.

Organizational Transparency

We provide veterinary care, foster homes, and adoptive placement to the stray cats and kittens listed in our annual reports. We are committed to prioritizing those with special needs and injuries who need us most, while also increasing our impact at shelters, where we make every effort to help put an end to unnecessary euthanasia.

Caring for these cats, especially those with urgent medical needs, can be costly — but it’s worth it. In 2025, we’re growing our shelter partnerships and aiming to increase lives saved by 15%! With your support, we can make an even bigger difference.

While some cats at Tenth Life become sanctuary residents due to complex medical or behavioral challenges, most are placed for adoption once their needs are assessed and they receive veterinary clearance.

Intake Statistics

We are committed to collaborative partnerships that will allow us to help decrease euthanasia in shelters and save more lives. We’re also serious about helping those cats who need a little extra support. Only when a trusted veterinarian determines that a cat is in a state of incurable suffering, does Tenth Life relieve them of their pain through gentle and humane euthanasia. This difficult and thoughtful decision is never made in response to a lack of space, negative behaviors, or because a cat’s medical needs are challenging or expensive.
